The Cottages at Tarraleah are Art Deco-style three or four bedroom cottages in Tasmania's central highlands.
The 1930's cottages have been refurbished but their original warmth and charm remains. Original Art Deco furnishings along with Tasmanian fine furniture design, polished floorboards, warm fires, queen-size beds and a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area.
Each cottage has television, DVD, telephone, air conditioning, spacious lounge, laundry plus a 1930's style kitchen with 21st century appliances, of course. And be prepared, there is always the risk of the resident wombats snuffing around your back door.
The Highlander Restaurant serves local beers and home cooking, and Teez Cafe is the place to go for great coffee and breakfast. Each is only a five-minute walk away.
