Merilba Estate Wines is located 30 kilometres west of Uralla on the Kingstown Road. Here, premium quality wine is crafted from grapes grown in the cool climate vineyard located on the property.
The latest addition at Merilba Estate is an impressive cellar door which is housed in a building that has seen a number of uses over its 150 year history. Originally a stable for the coach lines and then reused as a shearing shed for the next 100 years, the building has been impeccably restored, renovated and reinvented.
Visitors can choose to relax in front of a roaring open fire, sit at full length windows and take in the amazing view of the Honeysuckle Ranges, or indulge in a delicious meal and a bottle of wine.
The cellar door is open for wine tasting and lunch (lunch bookings essential).
