A long established and well-known player in Brisbane’s Chinese restaurant scene, Leon Chinese Restaurant in Lutwyche has delighted happy diners since 1986. Relaxed, intimately lit surroundings enriched by vibrant red and gold furnishings, Chinese lanterns and ornate pottery provide the perfect backdrop for a dining experience defined by lively, authentic Cantonese flavours that tantalise the palate. Live seafood from the tanks (for example, mud crabs, lobsters and live fish) remains a popular Leon specialty along with lightly battered beef fillets in sweet chilli sauce and stir fried combination hot pots. For those dining in a large group, Leon’s banquet options feature a range of classics such as sesame honey chicken and special fried rice to keep everyone’s tastebuds happy.
